WoW: Rogue in Season 4 – Get Weapons and Trinkets for Ancient Bronze Bars

In WoW Dragonflight Season 4, players have a chance to use Ancient Bronze Ingots to buy top-notch jewelry and weapons from the previous three raids. But which ones should villains pick first in World of Warcraft? We’ve got the answer for you.

Season 4 of Dragonflight lets players take charge of their loot luck themselves: To get the best weapons and jewelry for your villains, all you need to do is earn Ancient Bronze Ingots. You can spend them in Valdrakken for a variety of gear. But which ones are the most worthwhile?

Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Unlike other classes, the choice doesn’t vary much from one specialization to another because of the pure DpS playstyle. First and foremost, the motto is: We want big DpS bonuses like buffs and DoT effects. These items are also available as loot from the bosses of the Awakened Raids in Season 4, but the ones you can buy have a clear advantage: Thanks to the “Awakened” upgrade path, these items can be upgraded up to seven item levels higher than their dropped counterparts. But let’s get more specific and introduce you to the most powerful options that you, as a rogue fan, should spend your bronze bars on!

Seal of Diurna’s Chosen

Considered by many as a top contender for “Best in Slot” among all rogue specializations, this ring is highly coveted. And it’s no surprise why: Up until now, acquiring this potent ring has been quite challenging due to its rarity, making it a prime choice to acquire first. Its effect offers a substantial DpS buff. Each attack dealing fire damage has the potential to ignite enemies, imposing a potent burn debuff on them for two seconds. It’s definitely a must-have!

Ashes of the Embersoul

While the passive bonus of speed may seem unremarkable, this gem offers more than meets the eye. With a “use” effect, it requires more strategic thinking than the aforementioned seal. However, the payoff is worth it: with a simple press of a button, you gain a surge of mobility that gradually diminishes over 20 seconds. Once the effect concludes, your villain experiences a “burnout,” losing the passive speed bonus. Yet, for moments requiring burst damage, especially when paired with cooldown abilities, it proves immensely powerful. You can activate this skill every two minutes.

What’s more, if your health falls to 15 percent, the stat boost activates without any drawbacks. However, this feature only triggers once per battle.

Manic Grieftorch

Though it may seem a tad complex, this trinket boasting a “use” effect is undeniably potent. While it may require some finesse, its results speak volumes. The grieving torch not only enhances your mobility but also, every two minutes (perfectly synchronized with Ashes of the Embersoul, which also capitalizes on fire damage), unleashes a torrent of flames upon your target. The eight projectiles strike the primary target and have the potential to hit nearby enemies, dealing additional damage.

Voice of the Silent Star

For those specifically focusing on raids, this armor piece recommended for the back slot is worth considering. The functionality of the voice is straightforward: when a party member sustains damage, you receive a stacking buff that ultimately grants a bonus to your highest secondary stat. This cloak proves invaluable in raids where multiple players also don it. However, it lacks utility in Mythic+ dungeons since it doesn’t provide any stamina, diminishing your survivability.

Outlaw Rogues in WoW Dragonflight Season 4

Thorncaller Claw

This remarkable melee weapon is a must-have for rogues leaning towards the outlaw specialization. Found in the loot tables of the Council of Dreams in Amirdrassil, it’s an essential drop not to be missed. Striking enemies may occasionally afflict them with Thorn Spirit, dealing Nature damage over 15 seconds. Additionally, hitting the target during this effect causes surrounding enemies to suffer nature damage. While the effect is available only once every two seconds, it proves invaluable in group battles. Moreover, if the initially affected target perishes before Thorngeist expires, it will seek out a new target.

Manic Grieftorch

Another indispensable trinket for outlaws, this powerful item unleashes a volley of fire projectiles at the push of a button. With the potential to hit multiple enemies, it significantly boosts your DpS. Originating from the Vault of Incarnations, this older trinket even rewards you for the demise of comrades-in-arms by reducing its cooldown by 90 seconds. Rejoice as you rain fire upon your enemies once more.

Blessing of the Storm-Eater

For those seeking to wreak havoc in Mythic+ dungeons, this gem is the ultimate choice. The “Use” effect transforms you into an immobile primal air elemental for ten seconds. During this time, murderous winds swirl around you, dealing high natural damage to all enemies within ten meters. The potency of this effect increases every second until your transformation ends. Although it boasts a cooldown of three minutes, it proves immensely beneficial in group skirmishes within dungeons. Normally found in Dathea’s item loot tables in the Vault of Incarnations.

Cataclymic Signet Brand

A trinket with a passive effect, this item is a welcome addition to your arsenal. Usually obtained as a drop from Glimmeron, it’s recommended to purchase it with Bronze Ingots. The Brand occasionally brands enemies with your melee attacks and abilities, applying a six-second DoT effect while granting you the Fire Devil buff. With each stack of this effect (up to 15 stacks), damage increases. Moreover, with more than 5 stacks, you absorb 50 percent of the damage, and with 15 stacks, some of the damage is transferred to nearby targets. Though playing with fire, the DpS buff significantly aids your group, making it highly practical for raids. Otherwise, Blessing of the Storm Eater proves useful.

Assassination Rogue in WoW Dragonflight Season 4

Cruel Dreamcarver

Arguably the most potent weapon for assassins, the “Use” effect of this weapon warrants further explanation. Dubbed as “cutting a piece out of your target’s dreams,” it grants various buffs. These include reduced fall damage from wild animals, increased life drain below 50 percent health, enhanced stamina from dreaming of giants (though at the cost of speed), accelerated movement from stealing Dragonkin’s dreams, and even gaining +1 to engineering while healing by 10 percent of maximum health when health drops below 20 percent. However, this valuable effect occurs only once every three minutes.

Seal of Diurna’s Chosen

Assassins also covet the potential fire proc offered by this ring. Luckily, various sources of fire damage are available to us. Unlike some other options, this seal is characterized by its lack of disadvantages.

Ashes of the Embersoul

Assassins appreciate the potent burst effect provided by this trinket. Who could refuse a significant mobility boost? However, it’s essential to note that the trinket’s 20-second effect comes at the cost of losing your passive speed bonus, though this is negligible for Assassination.

Blessing of the Storm-Eater

For unleashing havoc in Mythic+ dungeons, Blessing of the Storm Eater proves invaluable once again. Transforming into a raging wind elemental, you can effortlessly dismantle groups in dungeons. Coordination with your group is crucial, ensuring targets are selected before you unleash your rampage. Additionally, beware of various AoE fields during combat, even with effective tanking. Coordination within a well-organized group of players is key here.
