We expect Apple to announce the iPhone 16 line in early September. Alongside this, Apple will also introduce two new AirPods. Mark Gurman revealed this information in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter on Bloomberg. He provided details about a more affordable model and another with advanced features. Additionally, there will be an update to the AirPods Pro 2.

Mark Gurman says both models will have USB-C. However, he anticipates that only the AirPods Pro 4 will feature advanced active noise cancellation and a wireless charging case. He expects the more affordable model to keep the in-ear design.
Additionally, the two models should have distinct appearances to make them easy to differentiate, but Gurman has not yet provided details on their designs.
Finally, the AirPods Pro 2 should receive an update with iOS 18, which will introduce a new “hearing aid mode.” This mode will combine Conversation Boost with Live Listen to increase the volume of sounds captured by the headphones.
