In early August, we saw a prototype of the iPhone 16 Pro Max in Titanium Black. Now, new images shared by tipster Sonny Dickson reveal another color for Apple’s most powerful cell phone in 2024. This time, the model is shown in four shades, with the new one being gold.

In the image below, Dickson took a photo of the mockups, which are devices used only to show the appearance of the device but do not actually work.

Interestingly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the image has a color darker than that of previous generations. This might be a way to set the 2024 line apart from earlier models.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max could be released in white, black, gray, and gold. Both this model and the iPhone 16 Pro are expected to continue using a titanium finish. However, the Pro model might replace the Titanium Blue color with pink or rose gold with a bronze-like hue.

It is worth noting that the color of the material can change depending on the lighting. Therefore, the gold color of the iPhone 16 Pro Max might not be as sandy brown as it appears in Dickson’s image. We will know for sure at the Apple event in September or October.

iPhone 16 Pro Max: Leaked Prototypes Reveal Model in Titanium Black Color

Last Wednesday (the 31st), tipster Sonny Dickson shared images of prototypes for the base model of the iPhone 16 line, showing them in saturated colors. Now, a new leak has revealed the color options for the Pro Max variant.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to come in at least three colors: white, black, and natural titanium. However, unlike the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the new model might feature a deeper shade of black.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Sonny Dickson shared new images of prototypes of the iPhone 16 Pro Max in three colors, highlighting the deep black shade.

Among the three colors shown, black is the most striking. It seems that Apple may finally use a darker shade, giving the device a more elegant look similar to the M3/MacBook Pros.

Previously, Apple used a black color for its iPhone Pro models, but it was closer to gray and quite light. Since these are prototypes, they do not yet feature Apple’s logo, which will likely appear on the final version.

Apple usually releases iPhone Pro models in four different colors. The image released by the informant shows only three shades, suggesting that there may be one more color option. In terms of design, there are not expected to be any significant changes.

One detail not visible in the image is the possible increase in screen size. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max might have displays measuring 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively.
