On the tournament realm, routes, class combos, and timing are being diligently refined. However, planning in one dungeon is difficult due to an over seven-year-old bug affecting the instance.
Darkheart Thicket Not Really Testable
MDI Players are unable to practice DarkHeart Thicket runs/pathing because of a bug with a world quest that's existed since Legion which causes dungeon trash to spawn differently

Because in Darkheart Thicket, four mobs are currently missing. The reason for this is the world quest in the Legion zone Val’sharah called “Darkheart Thicket: Mythana,” which is active for a total of three days and currently has about one day left. On the live servers as well as on the tournament realm, there is a rare mob at the beginning of the instance that you need to defeat for the world quest. Normally, there are four opponents there, which make it easier for you to reach the required mob percentages in Mythic Plus mode.

World quests usually do not affect Mythic Plus dungeons. However, this particular world quest with the rare mob Mythana has been bugged since Legion, which has not changed to this day.
Mythic Plus groups participating in the MDI tournament must therefore devise a different route or pull mobs from elsewhere. What is not a big deal for ordinary groups can decide victory or defeat in the Mythic Dungeon International. In the WoW esports tournament, teams compete for a total of $200,000 in the Global Finals, with $30,000 at stake in the group stage.
