Apple is inviting people across the United Kingdom to design Christmas trees on their iPad and have the chosen pieces projected onto the Battersea Power Station towers in London. The project will bring public artwork to a vast landmark and will include entries from artists and the public alike. According to Apple, the competition is open now and runs until one minute to midnight on November 23, 2025.
The company will host hands-on sessions at UK Apple Stores so people can sketch and learn techniques on iPad and Apple Pencil. Apple says those sessions will run in early November and will continue through the holiday season, so the public can create in-store if they prefer. The initiative follows previous Battersea projections created on iPad and on iPhone and is part of Apple UK seasonal programming.

How to Enter
Design anything on any iPad that you like, using the tools. Apply an Apple Pencil, in case you have one. Apple provides templates and directions to individuals who desire an easy beginning, and also, those who desire a more elaborate composition. The deadline to qualify to be selected is the submission of the design. Apple will accept entries from the public and will also show work by invited artists and public figures. The public submission process and the in-store Today at Apple sessions are explained on Apple UK pages.
Selected entries will be judged, and 24 winning designs will be chosen to appear on the Battersea towers. Apple will notify winners and arrange for their work to be prepared for projection. The campaign includes contributions from invited creatives and public figures who will appear alongside the public designs.

Projection Dates and Venues
The 24 artworks that are selected will be used to projected onto the Battersea Power Station in London during the winter season of Christmas. The projections will be displayed in the public display schedule within Apple. Times and exact show dates will be announced by Apple as the project moves toward December. Apple stores in the UK will continue to offer creative sessions through December so people can update or refine their designs for future projects.
This project gives iPad users a chance to see their own work on a large public canvas. It will also provide free ways for people to learn digital art skills at Apple Stores across the UK. If you plan to enter, check the Apple rules and file formats and make sure you meet the deadline on November 23, 2025.
