Veo can move a still image by copying motion from another video. A still image can look like it is dancing if a creator applies motion from a dance clip. Creators can also apply visual styles like pop art or origami. The model can add characters or props described in text. These features are built from the same class of models that Google placed on Vertex AI earlier this year.
Creator Tools Explained
YouTube added a remixing tool that turns spoken lines into short songs. The tool uses Google DeepMind’s music model Lyria 2. Creators can pick a mood such as chill danceable or fun. The company will test the tool first in the United States and then expand access.
The new Edit with AI feature turns raw footage into a first draft edit. It finds the best moments adds music and uses simple transitions. It can add a short voiceover that matches the scene.
