Capcom has just released Resident Evil 3 for Apple users. The game is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You can play the famous zombie survival game on your Apple device. It is part of Capcom’s plan to bring more big games to Apple after Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2.

What Is Resident Evil 3 About

Jill Valentine plays as your main playable character throughout Resident Evil 3. The character serves in police operations while fighting zombie outbreaks while attempting to live through the city. A dangerous virus twists human beings into monsters within the boundary of Racoon City throughout the events of the story. Jill battles zombies and Nemesis the mutant as she attempts to leave the encircling city. The game contains both puzzle challenges that require shooting and unsettling spooking segments.

Free downloading is possible through the Apple version of the game. Active gameplay of the complete version costs $9.99 within the app platform. Users who choose to unlock weapons and rewards immediately through in-app payment will need to spend $1.99.

How to Play Resident Evil 3 on Apple Devices

You need a powerful Apple device to run Resident Evil 3. The game has high-quality graphics and needs strong hardware.

Check If Your Device Works

If you have an iPhone, it must be an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max. It also needs iOS 17 or newer. For iPad users, your device must have an M1 or A17 Pro chip and run on iPadOS 17. Mac players need a Mac with at least an M1 chip and a macOS 13 Ventura or later.

The game takes 31 GB of storage space. Make sure you have enough free space before downloading. Capcom says using a controller makes the game easier to play. However, you can still use touch controls on iPhone and iPad.

Never Lose Your Progress Play Anywhere

A great feature lets you start playing on your Mac and then continue on your iPhone or iPad. Your game progress saves automatically across all devices. This means you can play at home on your Mac and keep playing on your iPhone while travelling.

Why This Is a Big Deal for Gamers

Resident Evil 3 coming to Apple devices shows how powerful iPhones, iPads, and Macs have become. Such games required a PlayStation or Xbox system for playing during previous periods. Modern technology allows you to enjoy these video games through mobile devices and tablets. This is possible because of Apple’s fast chips like the M1 and A17 Pro.

Capcom bringing more Resident Evil games to Apple is good news for fans. Other major games will appear on Apple gadgets within the near future. For example, Resident Evil 4 could come next.

Grab Your Device and Start Surviving

All users with iPhone 15 Pro models, tablets with M1 processors, or computer systems with M1 processors can currently play Resident Evil 3. Free access to the game exists so that users can obtain it through the App Store. Check if you can evade zombie attacks to leave Racoon City successfully.
