The iPad Mini 6 truly brings us into a new era of compact power. Desktops and laptops were once the computing horse and carriage; with their limits on portability and syncing abilities, it was not pretty. Now the iPad Mini fills this gap between the iPhone and the iPad Pro to give users a seamless experience to work and travel.
Compact Size, Big Impact
The iPad Mini 6 comes with 64GB storage and Wi-Fi only. Despite it being smaller than the iPad Pro, its designs mean it is great for travel. The iPad Mini weighs way less and has much less space occupied with it proving to be a ready friend for the on-the-go users. The iPad Mini is the right balance between performance and portability whether you’re editing photos during long flights or just reading comfortably.
Real-World Testing
On any long or short travel itinerary, and destinations, the iPad Mini can and will perform well in real-world use. Rewind, it served for editing photos, backing up data, and writing, and was versatile. The iPad Mini did not have the horsepower of the iPad Pro, but it still managed to exceed expectations in its raw convenience and general plentifulness.
The iPad Pro is fantastic for its large display and burst of processing power, but with its lightweight design, the iPad Mini remains unbeatable for fast tasks or long periods of usage. What makes the big difference is its size which you can toss into a bag or its compact screen that has just enough room to do most tasks (which I have done many times).
Strengths and Limitations
On the one hand, the iPad Mini is incredibly portable, but on the other, it runs into some limitations. The smaller screen is fine for reading, watching media, and such, but it has no ruler for typing, or heavy editing work. One can wish that there was a better screen or at least better syncing options to make the Mini even more powerful. For one, iPadOS still has issues moving so data when space is tight to begin with.
Though it comes with its fair share of drawbacks, the iPad Mini 6 is still a solid secondary companion for those in need of a secondary device alongside a larger iPad Pro or Mac. While not the perfect primary computer by any stretch of the imagination, it succeeds in being portable and providing for content consumption.
