OnePlus has formally announced the upcoming OnePlus 13, its next flagship phone, to be released in October 2024. The news was confirmed by Louis Lee, the president of OnePlus China, on Weibo and is in line with previous rumors and leaks. It is anticipated that the OnePlus 13 will feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor further boosting the performance and efficiency.
This year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be revealed in the upcoming Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit next month and will use Oryon CPU cores, which is a custom in Snapdragon X Elite-powered Windows laptops. The latest OnePlus 13 series is expected to be the first Android based Smartphone to integrate this highly integrated new chip. According to Android Police, this SoC will take a huge step forward in terms of mobile performance making the OnePlus 13 one of the most powerful phones.
