The Blizzard Entertainment are following through on their plans and reworking all of the Tier 2 sets in WoW. The new classes aren’t being left out either, as they will also receive updates!
It’s not just the Paladins who have something to be excited about. After Blizzard teased a rework of the iconic Paladin Tier 2 set, it has now been confirmed that all classes will get something special. As part of WoW’s 20th anniversary celebration, the developers are giving all Tier 2 sets a complete HD remake as a gift to the players.
The old sets have been completely redesigned using the latest technology, giving them a fresh, updated appearance. Despite the new look, the developers have preserved the charm of the original sets, ensuring they don’t feel like cheap copies but instead look like high-quality upgrades.
More Tier 2 Sets in WoW
Not only have the old Tier 2 sets been reworked, but there are also brand-new sets. This ensures that no classes are left out. The WoW designers have created Tier 2 sets for Evokers, Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Monks, which visually match the overall theme of the original sets.

The updated sets will be available on live servers with WoW Patch 11.0.5, and we will be able to earn them through various anniversary events. However, that’s not the only surprise the WoW developers have planned for the 20th anniversary. In a video, they showcased several exciting new features, which we will introduce to you soon.
These include a variety of new events, timewalking dungeons, rewards, and even a new raid: Blackrock Depths. We are eager to see what’s coming. Although there isn’t an official release date for Patch 11.0.5 yet, it likely won’t be out soon, as the first season of The War Within hasn’t even started.
