Transmog fans in World of Warcraft have a reason to rejoice! With the pre-patch for “The War Within,” all dungeon portals are now unlocked account-wide.
On July 24th, the pre-patch for “The War Within,” the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, was released. However, the joy is dampened. In the past few days, several problems have arisen with the features that were supposed to be included in the pre-patch. The WoW community is particularly focused on the long-awaited Warband feature.

The World of Warcraft development team has been forced to temporarily disable several Warband features. But the Warband isn’t the only problem players are having right now – there are other issues that the WoW team will need to resolve in the coming weeks.
Easier Travel Thanks to Account-Wide Dungeon Portals
But there is also good news! Thanks to account-wide dungeon portals, traveling in World of Warcraft has now been made considerably easier for all heroes. The portals are no longer tied to specific characters. This means that if you have unlocked them with one character, they are available to all your heroes. You can now easily teleport to any dungeon via the portal. This feature makes exploring the game world easier and saves you valuable time and patience.

How to Use Account-Wide Dungeon Portals in WoW
- Open Your Spellbook: Press the “P” key on your keyboard to open your spellbook.
- Navigate to the General Tab: Once the spellbook is open, click on the “General” tab.
- Find Heroic Path Icons: Look for the icons labeled “Heroic Path” within the “General” tab.
Using this button, you can call up the list of dungeon portals from the various WoW expansions. To unlock the dungeons for your entire account, you must complete the “Keystone Hero” achievement for the respective expansion. You will receive this achievement if you complete a mythic dungeon at level 10 or higher within the time limit.
The nice thing about this little update is that the old Pandaria and WoD portals are also available to all characters if you completed them in challenge mode back then. It remains to be seen whether we will one day get portals to classic dungeons from the era of The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. Players have long wanted a similar travel option for the legacy raids. In any case, the portals offer us a great opportunity to farm some great transmog sets before the start of “The War Within.”
