After several months of testing, Valve has announced that Counter-Strike 2 is now available for PC on Steam.

Announced in March, the game runs on the Source Engine 2, which also powers other Valve projects like Dota 2 and Half-Life: Alyx. Counter-Strike 2 is not a separate sequel from the original game, but rather a significant update for CS: GO.
