New information about AMD’s upcoming processors has been revealed. Cinebench tests were conducted with the Ryzen 5 9600X model, while ASUS achieved notable results with the Ryzen 9 9950X, even setting a new record in the benchmarks.

Ryzen 5 9600X Results
The information about the more budget-friendly model comes from a leak published by HXL. This more affordable Ryzen chip was tested using the Cinebench R23 benchmark, scoring 2,160 points in single-core performance and 16,205 points in multi-core performance.
These results improved with the use of the processor’s Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) feature, reaching 2,244 points in single-core and 17,037 points in multi-core performance. It’s worth noting that this processor has six cores and operates at a base frequency of 3.9 GHz.

ASUS and the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X
For the Ryzen 9 9950X, the result achieved is the highest ever recorded to date. ASUS obtained these numbers during a display at China Joy, but only the multi-core performance figures were disclosed. Nonetheless, the processor achieved 55,327 points in the multi-core test when overclocked on the ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard.
The Ryzen 5 9600X is expected to launch on August 8, alongside the Ryzen 7 9700X. The Ryzen 9 9950X is anticipated to be unveiled with the Ryzen 9 9900X on August 15. All these chips feature the new Zen 5 architecture.
