The iPhone 16 Pro’s appearance might have subtle changes, like a new capacitive button for the camera and a bigger rear module.

Translating the Chinese post on Weibo, the user said they confirmed that the iPhone 16 Pro’s screen will be 1,200 nits bright normally. But it can go up to 1,600 nits at its brightest.

Comparing it to the iPhone 15 Pro, which has a default brightness of 1,000 nits, but can go up to 1,600 nits in HDR, reaching 2,000 nits in sunlight for better viewing.
So, the next iPhone Pro might have a brighter screen, but maybe only reach 1,600 nits for HDR videos, which is the level Apple suggests for this kind of content. We’ll have to wait and see if it’s also brighter in sunlight.
Even though Instant Digital isn’t a common source for leaks, they correctly predicted that the new iPad Pro would have a screen with matte nanotexture glass to stop reflections before Apple announced it this week. This makes today’s info more trustworthy.
