Awakened Raids
- Each week during Dragonflight Season 4 , one of three Dragonflight raids will be awakened: Vault of Incarnations, Aberrus, Crucible of Shadows, or Amirdrassil, Hope of the Dream. Enemies in awakened raids are stronger and drop upgraded loot with higher item levels.
- A buff that increases earned reputation with Dragonflight factions activates when a specific raid is awakened:
-
Time schedule
- Vault of Incarnations: Signs of Awakened Storms – Dragonscale Expedition, Maruuk Centaurs and Tuskarr of Iskaara
- Aberrus, Crucible of Shadows: Signs of Awakened Ember – Niffen of Loamm, Soridormi and Sabellian/Furorion

- When all raids are awakened: Reputation gain for all factions mentioned above is increased.

- Exchange 2 ingots for weapons and powerful items from the Dragonflight raids from vendors in the Last Jar in Valdrakken.
- An additional vendor nearby sells the Jigglesworth Sr. mount. for 3 ingots as well as cosmetic items that let you choose between any raid weapon template of any difficulty coloring for 1 ingot each.
- Legendary items will drop in raids as before, but if you have already obtained them, you can purchase a Scale of Awakening to upgrade these items to Season 4 item levels. (The base value is 502, but you can further upgrade it with emblems and flying stones.)

Changes For Dungeons
Dragonflight Season 4 brings a ton of changes, including adjustments to dungeons, their progression, and rewards.
- One of the most exciting changes players can look forward to is the removal of the Mythic Keystone Dungeon timer, which is currently 0 and 10. Players can explore these dungeons at their own pace without having to worry about time while improving their skills.
- Heroic difficulty and corresponding rewards increase to approximately the current level of Mythic 0. You can still queue for these dungeons using the dungeon browser (default shortcut “I”), but the item level requirements will also increase accordingly.
- The difficulty and rewards of Mythic 0 increase approximately to the current level of Mythic 8-10. (That’s a bit of a simplification; numerically they’re closer to Mythic 10, but the fact that they no longer have a timer or affixes at all makes up for it somewhat.)
- The existing Mythisch+ system starts at this point: In Season 4, Mythisch 5 corresponds to what Mythisch 15 would be today in terms of difficulty, rewards and Mythisch+ rating granted.
-
Normal
- Nothing changes in this level of difficulty.
-
Heroic
- This difficulty level’s setting and rewards will increase to match what regular Mythic (Mythic 0) is in the current system.
- However, the other special features and game mechanics of Mythic are not adopted for Heroic.
- You can still queue up for it.
-
Mythical
- The setting and rewards of this difficulty increase to what would be a +10 dungeon with affixes in the current system.
- There are no timers, affixes, or restrictions on changing specializations or talents within the dungeon.
- We want to offer a level of difficulty that corresponds to megadungeons. This difficulty level is intended to provide meaningful challenge and appropriate rewards, but without the pressure of the current Mythic+ system.
- Even under this model, Mythic 0 is subject to a weekly ban.
-
Mythic+
- The Mythic+ system offers rewards up to level 10. It starts at +2, which is equivalent to a +11 in the current Mythic+ system.
- So a +5 should be as difficult as a +15 in the current Mythic+ system, a +10 as difficult as a +20, etc.
- Affixes apply to +2, +5 and +10.
- +2 – Empowered/Tyrannical
- +5 – Entangling/Incorporeal etc.
- +10 – Inciting/Bursting etc.
- Dungeon ratings should reflect what they represent in the current system.
- There should be a smaller range of keystone levels that you need to group for, and the progression between each level should be more meaningful.
- The Mythic+ system offers rewards up to level 10. It starts at +2, which is equivalent to a +11 in the current Mythic+ system.
- It is important that the basic structure of the dungeon rewards does not change significantly: the rewards that you would have previously received for completing a Mythic 0 dungeon will now be received for heroic dungeons, etc.
- The Crest and Flystone rewards change to match the same difficulty level, with some minor changes.
- The flying stones granted for any Mythic+ dungeons correspond to the similarly difficult Mythic+ from previous seasons. So for Mythic +2 we are awarding the same number of flying stones in Season 4 as for Mythic +12 in the current Season 3. So the rewards still match the difficulty, even if we now call the difficulty level differently.
- The bonus flying stones for increasing the Mythic+ score of any party member remain unchanged.
- There are no longer any Whelpling Crests to get in Mythic+ dungeons because these difficulty levels no longer exist. However, there are still plenty of outdoor opportunities to obtain whelpling crests.
- In the future, you will receive 10 Dragon Emblems when you successfully complete a Mythic 0 dungeon, as there is no longer a timer.
- Wyrm Emblems are available in Mythic +2 to +5 dungeons in the same quantities as in existing Mythic+ dungeons.
- Aspect Emblems are available on any Mythic difficulty starting at +6, also in the same quantities as in the existing Mythic+ dungeons.
North End Cup
From April 30th to May 14th, you can glide through the skies of Northrend in the Dragon Rider Race event, the Northrend Cup.
Take on the normal, advanced and reverse variants of twelve different circuits in Northrend to earn Riders of Azeroth badges that can be exchanged for rewards in Valdrakken at Maztha.
