Remedy has outlined the two paid expansions for Alan Wake 2. The first one is called Night Springs and is scheduled to arrive in the 2nd quarter of 2024. The second one, The Lake House, does not yet have a release window, but it is also coming out next year.
Both expansions can be played at no additional cost by players who purchase the Deluxe Edition of Alan Wake 2, and they will also be available for individual purchase.
Night Springs will allow players to experience the unexplainable in various standalone episodes of Night Springs, a fictional TV show set in the world of Alan Wake, with the opportunity to play as several familiar characters from the Alan Wake universe.
Speaking of The Lake House, this expansion involves “a mysterious facility situated on the shores of Cauldron Lake, created by an independent government organization for conducting secret research… until something goes wrong.” It will feature two distinct adventures with the characters Saga Anderson and Alan Wake.
This week, Remedy also announced that Alan Wake 2 will receive the New Game Plus mode in an update that will arrive after the game’s release, which happened today.
Alan Wake 2 is available for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC (Epic Games Store).
