HONOR, a leading global technology brand, introduced its latest AI-powered products at the IFA 2024 exhibition, proving again that the company is at the forefront of innovation and performance. The record-breaking HONOR Magic V3, an inward foldable smartphone, and the elegant HONOR MagicBook Art 14, AI laptop, stand out among the products. Also launched are the HONOR MagicPad 2, a premium digital drawing tablet, and the HONOR Watch 5; an elegant health and fitness smartwatch. According to the company’s Chief Executive Officer, George Zhao, HONOR will seek to advance the way creativity and efficiency are managed with AI.

HONOR Magic V3: The World’s Slimmest Foldable Phone
The HONOR Magic V3 has brought out the best in foldable technology, which gives this device a barely there feel as it is only 9.2mm thick when folded and has a weight of 226g. Made from 19 cutting-edge materials and 114 distinct textures, it has a dome-shaped eight-sided camera which is both stylish and technologically advanced. The body of Magic V3 is crafted with Special Fiber, providing 40 times better impact protection than other flagship bar phones, and HONOR Super Steel Hinge supporting 500000 folds SGS Durability Certification.
The Magic V3 has an external screen of 6.43 inches and a foldable internal screen of 7.92 inches, which makes it an entertainment package. It comes with an addition of an AI Defocus Display with smart eye comfort features such as 4320Hz Risk-free PWM Dimming and Dynamic Dimming. Supported by a 5150mAh Silicon-carbon Battery with 66W Wired & 50W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge the usability of the mobile is always people’s favorite. Its camera is again an improved one and contains features such as 50MP Periscope Telephoto Camera which makes the smartphone a good photography device. In broader terms, it is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform to empower business users with AI features such as Magic Portal, AI Motion Sensing, and AI Eraser.
HONOR MagicBook Art 14: A Breakthrough in AI-powered Productivity
The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 takes computing to another level, offering a sleek, thin, and tough design coupled with top-notch artificial intelligence. Measuring only 10mm in thickness, and weighing approximately 1kg, this laptop has the Vine-leaf Curves Design as well as the Satin Enamel Spraying Technology. The outer casing is made of magnesium alloy and the keyboard is made of titanium thus making it strong as well as stylish.
The MagicBook Art 14 comes with a 14.6-inch HONOR FullView Touch Display featuring a 97% screen-to-body ratio and includes cutting-edge eye protection features. AI-Built-in processes with the cooperation of Microsoft’s Copilot, present valuable tools such as Intelligent Email Management and Real-time Transcription. Equipped with Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 Processor 155H, the performance of the laptop is at par with solutions intended for professional applications that integrate improved features for AI and GPU. Huawei Magic V3 vs. iPhone
Taking foldable competition like Apple and Samsung in consideration, HONOR appears to be prepared to confront them with the HONOR Magic V3. There are several key differences between the Magic V3 and regular smartphones such as the iPhone 15 These include enhanced AI, durability, and very thin form factor. Although iPhones are still selling well today as far as the ecosystem and the camera is concerned, there is no doubt that the Magic V3 has that cool trick of being foldable as well as having new-generation AI features that Apple has not explored as of yet.
The Magic V3 actually measures only 4.3mm in its unfolded state and 9.2mm when folded, which makes it even thinner than Honor Magic V2 and puts its closest competitors, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (5.6mm / 12.1mm) and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (5.1mm / 10.5mm) to shame on the thinness factor.
However, when opened, the slider version of the Magic V3 is less than 8.2mm thick, which is closer to the thickness of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and less than both of its most significant foldable counterparts. At a weight of 226g, the set is nearly as featherweight as the best iPhone (221g) issued by Apple.
HONOR MagicPad 2 and Watch 5: Seamless Productivity and Health Tracking
The HONOR MagicPad 2 is a sleek and portable slate with a 12.3-inch HONOR Eye Comfort Display that boasts a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is an all-in-one device with AI software solutions in the office productivity suite and entertainment. Launched on Snapdragon® 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform and integrated with a 10050mAh battery with support of 66W fast charging Smart work will last long throughout the day with the new MagicPad 2.
HONOR also unveiled the sleek HONOR Watch 5 which comes with a slim and lightweight body and a 1.85-inch AMOLED colour display. The watch has a battery backup of up to 15 days, it has health monitoring features, and accurate GPS positioning provided by the AccuTrack positioning system.
The HONOR Magic V3 is priced at €1,999 and is available in Reddish Brown, Green and Black. The HONOR MagicPad 2 is available for € 599 and presented in Moonlight White and Black.
