Limp Bizkit have returned with a new single titled ‘Making Love To Morgan Wallen’. The track is part of an official partnership with Battlefield 6 and arrives through EA Games and Hollywood Records. This release marks the band first major single since 2021 and it will feature in promotional material tied to the game ahead of its October release.

The song mixes Limp Bizkit energy with a provocative title that will attract attention across music and gaming communities. Frontman Fred Durst is an established gamer and the collaboration reflects a natural overlap between his interests and the game industry. EA previously included a remix of Break Stuff in early Battlefield trailers which set the tone for a rock forward soundtrack approach.

Song Placement

‘Making Love To Morgan Wallen’ will appear in trailers and other campaign spots for Battlefield 6. The tie in will give the song broad exposure on video platforms and social feeds. For EA the move strengthens the title identity in a crowded release calendar. For Limp Bizkit the single acts as both a comeback and a bridge to new listeners within the gaming audience.

Audience Reach

Battlefield 6 launches on October 10 and the marketing push around that date will push the song into the awareness of millions of players. Viewers who discover the track in trailers will likely seek it on streaming services and social platforms. The collaboration also highlights the fact that music and games will continue crashing together as publishers rely on high-profile artists to enhance launch efforts.

This release shows how sound track in games can be a great way of advertising to both the developers and the musicians. The partnership is also bound to increase the life of the single even after the first set of trailers because players and fans would continue to use such clips in streams and short form videos. Fans of the band and players of the game will both have a chance to hear the track in context when Battlefield 6 goes live.
