Redmi has announced a range of new products, including one of its most recommended devices: the Redmi Watch. Now in its fifth version, the Redmi Watch has improved in almost every area, making it one of the most appealing options in the entry-level smartwatch category.

The new Redmi Watch 5 stands out primarily for its screen, the most important feature of a smartwatch. It comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display, which is brighter and more focused on outdoor use compared to previous versions. The screen offers 1500 nits of brightness, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and a pixel density of 324 ppi.
Additionally, the company has paid special attention to the design of the Redmi Watch 5. The ultra-thin bezels, measuring just 2 mm, combined with the 2.07-inch screen, result in an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 82%.
There are improvements in other key areas as well. Xiaomi claims that the Redmi Watch 5 can last up to 24 days on a single charge. It includes all the essential features of a device in this category: health monitoring and classic smartwatch functions, offering an unbeatable price-to-quality ratio.
Redmi Watch 5: Customizable and with a Battery That Lasts Nearly a Month
The watch is fully customizable, offering various strap options that perfectly complement its premium aluminum alloy frame. Thanks to its lightweight design, it is especially comfortable to wear.
There are other notable features as well: the watch includes an integrated linear motor that provides precise and silent haptic feedback for notifications or general use. It also supports Bluetooth calls with noise reduction, using dual microphones to ensure clarity even in noisy or windy environments.
In terms of health features, the Redmi Watch 5 includes a specialized heart rate algorithm that improves accuracy and offers continuous heart rate monitoring—something even many high-end devices lack. It also measures blood oxygen levels and sleep quality.
The watch retains over 150 sports modes, paired with a quintuple GNSS system for accurate tracking of outdoor activities. It also offers 5ATM water resistance, making it ideal for swimming.
As for its price and availability, the Redmi Watch 5 will be available starting January 15 for €109.99 through the Xiaomi online store, and later at various authorized retailers.
