With Patch 11.0.5 of WoW: The War Within and the 20th anniversary event, players can look forward to HD remakes of the Tier 2 set. There will also be multiple color variants, and Blizzard has already leaked a recolor, sparking excitement among the community.
For the 20th WoW anniversary, all classes will receive HD updates for the Tier 2 set, including Death Knights, Monks, and Demon Hunters. Although these classes were not part of the original Tier 2 set from WoW Classic, they will still get cool new HD sets designed just for them.
The Monk set, in particular, has become a hot topic in the community. Interestingly, it’s not because of its stunning design, but because Blizzard seems to have made a significant mistake. However, this error has given players hope for even more updates.
WoW: Too Late, Blizzard – We’ve Seen It!
In the official preview of the revised Tier 2 sets, a green monk set is shown. However, Redditor Jinyama has pointed out that the developers also briefly presented another version of this monk set in gold colors instead of green.
This news has excited the community. Could it mean that we will be able to earn multiple versions of the Tier 2 set during the 20th anniversary? Or might the recolored versions of the Tier 2 HD sets become available later, perhaps through the trading post? Since some monks in the comments have already expressed a preference for the gold set, there is hope.
Other classes, especially Paladins, are hoping for a possible debut of the pink Tier 2 set, which has been lying dormant in the game files for what seems like an eternity, as a trading post item. We assume that the recolored versions of the Tier 2 HD sets will eventually appear in the trading post.
