MSI Adds 8-Pin Connector to X870E Motherboards for Next-Gen RTX 50 GPUs

The latest models of MSI X870E have incorporated an 8-pin auxiliary power connector as part of future-proofing their hardware. This addition is majorly tailored to power the future NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs for Graphics Processing Unit. The development was exhibited at Gamescom 2024 where people focused at MSI’s intent to make sure their motherboards will be capable of handling the power-hungry nature in the future graphics card technology.

MSI has included the 8-pin connector in its X870E motherboard series so that users are ready for the anticipated high-power draw of the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 50 GPUs.
