In the latest wave of updates, the developers of World of Warcraft have deployed a series of hotfixes to the live servers across various game versions on August 1, 2024. These updates bring a host of bug fixes, including a notable resolution for the teleportation bug in Silithus.

New Hotfixes Enhance Gameplay
The development teams have rolled out fixes for both Retail-WoW Version 11.0 and the Cataclysm Classic, alongside adjustments for the Season of Discovery. Noteworthy improvements include a bug fix for the teleportation issue during Timewalking in Silithus and enhancements to the Druid’s Harmony.

Druid
- Restoration
- Fixed an issue causing Harmony to erroneously increase healing as if an extra stack was always present.
Dungeons and Raids
Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope
- Tindral Sageswift
- Resolved a problem where Fire Beams would move in unintended directions.
Player-characters
- Summoning a mount now correctly cancels Zen Flight.
Quests
- The Frostbrood Skytalon Dragon now deals the correct amount of damage to Scarlet Crusaders for the Death Knight quest “An End to All Things.”
- Players using Time Travel in Silithus should no longer experience teleportation beneath the world while using the Teleportation Scroll during “The War Within.”
- Illidan Stormrage now sacrifices mages more effectively during “Ravencrest’s Legacy,” facilitating completion of the scenario.

Season of Discovery
- Increased drop chances for the Libram of Resilience from various world sources.
- Added a chance for the Libram of Voracity, Rapidity, and Resilience to appear in Damaged Undermine Supply Crates purchased with Tarnished Undermine Reals.
- Essence of the Pure Flame now reflects its damage in the combat log.
- Hydraxian Coronation now binds to the target piece of gear.
- The Alliance quest “End of the Dark Horde” is now assigned by Master Mathias Shaw (formerly General Marcus Jonathan).
- The Overcharged Rune can now be obtained by players who completed the discovery but did not receive the rune.
- Fine Flarecore Gloves are no longer restricted by class.
- Hunter
- Kill Shot now benefits from increased range with the Hawk Eye talent.
- Hunters can no longer place multiple instances of the same trap by unequipping the Trap Launcher and replacing the trap.
- Shaman
- The Elemental Tier 1 6-piece bonus now correctly refreshes Flame Shock to 18 seconds if Burn is engraved.
- Warlock
- Mages’ Balefire Bolt can no longer damage targets affected by Banish; they will be immune.

Cataclysm Classic
- Conquest can now be purchased from the Valor vendor at a rate of 250 Conquest per 250 Valor.
- Honor can be purchased from the Justice Commodities Vendor at 250 Honor per 375 Justice.
- Justice can be bought from the Honor Commodities Vendor at 250 Justice per 375 Honor.
- Maelstrom Crystals are now available from Justice Goods Vendors: Togar in Orgrimmar and Talric Forthright in Stormwind City.
- Certain rare elite mobs in Cataclysm zones now drop item-level 359 epic gear, including Mobus, Garr, Xariona, Akma’hat, and Julak-Doom.
- All Midsummer items, such as the Brazier of Dancing Flames and Captured Flame, can now be refunded as intended.
- Fixed an issue where Ritual Tiki Masks were invisible and non-targetable in Zul’Gurub.
Hotfixes are server-side updates that do not require new data downloads. Some changes take effect immediately upon implementation, while others may require a scheduled realm restart. Please note that some issues may not be resolved without a client-side patch.
