Later this year, Starfield will also get an official DLC expansion called Shattered Space.

The mod creator wants to give players more ships to find while exploring space, which is an important part of the Starfield experience. After you download and install the mod, you’ll see a much larger variety of ship designs.
The original game had about 20 types of ships, including large cruisers, fast fighters, assault dropships, and small scout crafts. This mod includes many new ship designs found on Reddit, so you’ll find some impressive new ships on your adventures.
You can buy these ships from vendors or find them flying between planets. Some may be hostile, while others might lead to friendly NPC interactions.
