The AOC CU34G3X monitor has been officially announced. This gaming monitor offers three key advantages, including a curved panel, a fast refresh rate, and accurate colours.
Specifications of AOC CU34G3X
The CU34G3X features a 34-inch curved VA panel with a curvature level of 1500R and a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. Its VA panel can achieve a high contrast ratio of up to 4000:1 and a brightness level of up to 300 nits. Unfortunately, this means that the CU34G3X does not support HDR content, as monitors with HDR standards typically require a minimum brightness level of 400 nits.
However, when it comes to colour accuracy, the CU34G3X is reliable. Its panel supports a color gamut of DCI-P3 at 99% and sRGB at 93%. To ensure colour accuracy, AOC also calibrates the colours directly from the factory, with a Delta E standard of less than 2.
To provide a smoother gaming experience, the CU34G3X supports a 180 Hz refresh rate and a 1-millisecond response time (GtG). It also includes AMD FreeSync technology to anticipate and reduce stuttering and tearing effects that can disrupt gameplay.
In terms of connectivity, it offers a pair of DisplayPort 1.4 ports and HDMI 2.0 ports. The monitor is also equipped with VESA mount compatibility and adjustable stand legs to accommodate gamers’ comfort preferences.
Price of AOC CU34G3X
The AOC CU34G3X is currently available in the Chinese market, but there is no detailed information on its global release date however it is priced at US$411.
