ASUS has always been a company renowned for its bold launches across various categories, with iconic notebook models like the Zenbook Duo line with two screens and the Zenbook Fold with a flexible screen. Now, the brand has introduced an even more intriguing laptop in China, but for a completely different reason: it emits a scent.

The Adol Book 14 Air features some quite interesting specs for conventional users, including a high-quality OLED screen, a powerful AMD chip, good RAM and storage capacities, and a thin and light body for easy transport. Everything is quite standard, except for a small compartment on the top cover to store a scent emitter produced in partnership with Anna Sui, a brand specialized in fragrances.
Easily Replaceable Fragrance Emitter and Exclusive Accessory Package
According to the information provided, the slot where the fragrance emitter is located can be easily removed, as it is held in place by a magnet. You can then open it to replace the scent with another one you prefer — three options are available in the box — or when the liquid responsible for the scent starts to run out.
Speaking of packaging, the notebook comes with a very special package full of accessories. In addition to the lilac-colored laptop itself and its charging source, it includes a stylish carrying case, a wireless mouse, a sticker sheet, and even a 50 ml bottle of Anna Sui Wishing Elf perfume, all themed to match the company’s branding. Manuals and warranty terms — which are valid internationally for 2 years — are also included.
ASUS Adol Book 14 Air: High-Performance 14-inch OLED Notebook with AMD Ryzen 9
Regarding the notebook itself, the custom edition features a 14-inch OLED display with 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels) and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color standard. The AMD Ryzen 9 8945H platform is responsible for performance, working with an integrated Radeon GPU, 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 7500 MHz, and 1 TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage in 2280 format.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, one USB 3.2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 4.0 Type-C, HDMI, a 3.5mm P2 2-in-1 audio jack, and a Micro SD card reader. It also features stereo sound with SonicMaster support, a 75Wh battery with a promised 14 hours of local video playback, a Full HD webcam, and Windows 11 Home. Its dimensions are 310.5 x 221.9 x 13.9 mm, with a weight of 1.29 kg.
The notebook includes a personal assistant optimized by Artificial Intelligence (AI), but given the use of an AMD Hawk Point chip that is not specifically focused on this, performance will be better in applications that use cloud processing.
The new ASUS Adol Book 14 Air is being sold exclusively in China, with a suggested price of 6,999 yuan, or about R$5,477 in direct conversion, excluding local taxes. There has been no comment on the international launch of the notebook, but themed versions are rarely sold on a large scale, so it is most likely that those interested will need to import it.
