Apparently, Rockstar Games is not only aiming to do something better than any other game currently available but also something that has never been done before.

GTA 6 will also feature improvements in vehicle physics. The game will also be the first in the franchise to feature physically simulated lighting to better represent Vice City’s nightlife.
