Blizzard has just announced that Diablo IV will be released on Steam on October 17th. The news was revealed during a broadcast with news about the game.
This is the second Blizzard game to be released on Valve’s service, with the first being Overwatch 2 in August.

The debut of Diablo IV on Steam will occur simultaneously with the arrival of the second season of content – Season of Blood – which consists of content aimed at allowing the player to combat the increase in vampires in Sanctuary while using their power.
This new version of Diablo IV will support shared progression and crossplay with the battle.net, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One versions. A battle.net account is required to play. In addition, the game will be compatible with the Steam Deck and will have achievements, friends lists and other Steam features.
