Nvidia reported a record quarter and a strong outlook that eased worries about an AI bubble. The third quarter ended on October 26 with the company recording a record 57.0 billion in revenue as a result of 51.2 billion in data center sales. There was an increase in the net income by approximately 32.0 billion (GAAP basis). Such outcomes were higher than what was projected by Wall Street, and it drove Nvidia stock upward following the report.

Record Quarter Results

The data center business is the clear driver of the quarter. Nvidia said data center revenue reached $51.2 billion. That figure represents strong growth compared with prior quarters and compared with the same period a year ago. Company leaders said demand for AI training and inference continues to accelerate across cloud providers, enterprises, and research centers.

CEO Jensen Huang spoke in bullish terms during the earnings call. He said Blackwell GPU sales are “off the charts” and that cloud GPUs are sold out in many configurations. Analysts and reporters repeated that line when describing how quickly customers are buying new AI compute. The message from management was simple. Demand for AI compute is not fading.

CFO Colette Kress highlighted an important data point for institutional builders. Nvidia said it had announced AI factory and infrastructure projects that total about 5 million GPUs. That pipeline covers cloud providers sovereign deployments, large enterprises, and supercomputing centers. The number shows how many large-scale projects are now underway and how capital spending on AI hardware is compounding.

The company also discussed product-level details. Blackwell Ultra and other Blackwell variants led demand across customer categories. Nvidia said H20 GPU shipments were weaker than planned in the quarter because rules and market competition limited sales into China. That constraint weighed on some product lines even as overall revenue surged.

What Comes Next

Nvidia established a sanguine outlook for the coming quarter. The firm reached approximately 65 billion dollars in revenue in Q4. The Investors said that attitude brought enthusiasm, and the company said that it believes that both training and inference workloads will keep increasing exponentially in most industries. Management said they see a virtuous cycle of more models, more builders, and more infrastructure spending.

Market reaction shows how much confidence the quarter restored. Nvidia shares rose in after-hours trading after the report and analyst notes emphasized that the AI hardware cycle remains intense. At the same time, some experts warned that geopolitical export controls and rising competition in China will shape which customers can buy certain chips and at what volume. Nvidia itself acknowledged those risks on the call.
