Adobe has launched a full version of Premiere for iPhone. The app brings a serious set of editing tools to a device that many creators already use to shoot video. Premiere on iPhone works with a multiple-track timeline. Creators can layer video clips, sound effects, music, and text. The app supports 4K HDR projects and offers color and exposure controls that work at the frame level. Adobe built automatic captioning into the app so creators can add readable text to videos without extra apps.
Mobile Premiere Tools
Adobe added AI-driven features to the iPhone app. Users can create background sounds from a written prompt or from a hummed melody. The app uses Firefly models to generate images and to make stickers. The same technology can convert a still image into a short motion clip for a transition. These AI features require credits for some outputs. Adobe also offers free access to a stock library of photos, clips, and sounds for use inside projects.
