Microsoft has added a new Retro Classics collection to Xbox Game Pass. More than fifty games from the 1980s and 1990s are now ready to play. This library brings back old favorites for a new generation. Game Pass members can enjoy these titles at no extra cost.

Classic Titles from Activision’s Past
The Retro Classics collection features games from Activision’s long history. Players can explore Pitfall and Pitfall II: Lost Caverns. They can race in Grand Prix or face enemies in Commando. They can dive with dolphins or build in Atlantis and Atlantis II. Other hits include Cosmic Ark and MechWarrior 31st Century Combat. You will find River Raid and River Raid II, as well as many more games from MS-DOS and early consoles. Each title brings back the look and feel of its original hardware while running on modern devices.
Getting Started on Xbox and Beyond
Members can play Retro Classics on an Xbox console or on a PC. They can also use cloud gaming on smart TVs from LG and Samsung or on a Meta Quest headset. To begin, open the Game Pass app and search for Retro Classics. The full list will appear, and you can start any game with a single click. Each game will download quickly, and you can start playing in minutes.
Modern Features for Old Games
Even though these games are old, they have new features for today’s players. You can earn achievements and share your scores. You can take part in events and community challenges. You can save your game at any point and pick up right where you left off. The Retro Classics collection shows how Microsoft cares for game history and makes sure old titles can still be played and enjoyed.

More Games on the Way
Microsoft plans to grow this library to over one hundred games from Activision and Blizzard. That will include even more hits and hidden gems. Alongside this new collection, Game Pass members can also get a special offer for Antstream Arcade. Until June fourth, you can sign up for a full year of access to Antstream’s library of more than thirteen hundred games for just nine dollars and ninety-nine cents.
