If you’ve been following the recent leaks, there won’t be any surprises. Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S24 FE with a 6.7-inch display that has Full HD resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
In terms of design, the new smartphone takes after the Galaxy S24 and S24+, featuring aluminum frames. It is available in five colors: graphite, gray, blue, green, yellow, and mint.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is powered by an Exynos 2400e processor, with 8 GB of RAM and three storage options: 128, 256, and 512 GB. The battery is 4,700 mAh and supports both wired and wireless charging. For connectivity, it includes WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for 5G networks.
The camera is the standout feature of the Galaxy S24 FE. Samsung has equipped it with a 50 MP main sensor that has optical image stabilization, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is 10 MP. The company highlights the ProVisual Engine, which helps capture better photos in low-light conditions and offers other AI-driven enhancements.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comes packed with AI features.
As expected, Samsung has included its Galaxy AI artificial intelligence suite in the Galaxy S24 FE. This suite features tools like generative photo editing, editing suggestions, and instant slow motion. But the story doesn’t end there.
The phone also includes interpreter and instant translation functions, a notes assistant, and Google’s Circle to Search utility. This feature began expanding to several mid-range Samsung models after debuting earlier this year on the Galaxy S24. It’s important to note that the Galaxy AI experience will be free until the end of 2025.
Regarding software, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE launches with Android 14 and One UI 6.1. The good news is that the manufacturer has guaranteed support for seven generations of the operating system, along with seven years of security updates.
Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be available in Europe starting October 3. The company has not yet confirmed the price, but previous rumors suggest it could begin at 799 euros, representing a significant increase compared to its predecessor.
In the United States, the phone is already available for pre-order, with a starting price of $649. This aligns with recent leaks regarding the price for the North American market.
