With the new stat system, you’ll be able to reach Keystone Master status faster in Season 1 of WoW: The War Within. You can also earn the Season 1 mount and select a set item at the heroic level of your choice.
At the start of the first season of WoW: The War Within, you’ll have access to eight new Mythic Plus dungeons, which will help you raise your M+ rating. Achieving the sought-after 2,000 rating is now easier due to the updated affix system. Instead of needing to complete a dungeon during both a Tyrannical and Reinforced week for full rating, now just one week is sufficient.
In this new affix system, Tyrannical and Reinforced will always appear together. This change allows you to obtain the Season 1 mount and the universal token for a set piece of your choice more quickly.
New Requirements for Keystone Success
- The split score for Tyrannical and Reinforced is no longer used—there is now only one score per dungeon.
- To become a The War Within Keystone Master: Season 1, you must either complete all dungeons at +7 within the time limit or at least finish them at +8 within a reasonable time.
- To earn the The War Within Keystone Hero: Season 1, you need to complete all dungeons at +10 within the time limit.
For the Keystone Master achievement (2,000 rating), you will be rewarded with the Diamond Mechsuit. The 2,000 rating is also a requirement for The War Within Season 1: Spelunker Supreme achievement. By earning this achievement, you will receive the Mark of the Spelunker Supreme, allowing you to choose a set item from the vendor.
Players who achieve a 2,500 rating unlock the Luminous Nerubian Catalyst Stone visual effect for their equipment. Additionally, by mastering a +10 dungeon, you gain access to dungeon portals for the respective instances. You can now quickly travel to the dungeons through the new portal room in Dornogal.
