After the new expansion The War Within had a strong launch, fans are naturally curious about what will happen in the coming weeks and months. Fortunately, Blizzard has now released an official roadmap for the first season, so let’s take a closer look!
The new expansion of World of Warcraft, The War Within, has started off well. The new content, such as the Depths, has been well received—who doesn’t enjoy spending hours exploring caves with the adventurous Brann? The development team has also addressed minor balancing issues, showing that they are committed to avoiding mistakes this time.
Additionally, we will soon see new classes for the Dracthyr and a rework of the very popular Tier 2 sets. Exciting times ahead! To keep up with these updates, Blizzard has released a roadmap for Season 1 of The War Within, and we’ll show you what to expect.
Season 1 Starts on September 10th—Get Ready to Smash Spiders Right Away!
The new raid will start on September 10th. On that day, the Palace of the Nerub’ar will be available on normal and heroic difficulty, as well as its first wing in the Raid Finder. The following week, the raid will be accessible on mythic difficulty, including the second wing in the Raid Finder. As expected, the third wing will be released the week after.
In total, there are 8 bosses waiting for you (spiders have 8 legs… and the spider raid has 8 bosses… is it a coincidence?). However, the first season has more to offer than just the new raid. Here is what Blizzard has shared:
