How to Redeem Your Free YouTube Premium Subscription and What to Know About It
To redeem your free subscription, open YouTube on your device, go to your account, and click on “Get YouTube Premium.” You will see information about the three-month trial period, after which there will be a monthly fee of R$24.90. You can cancel your subscription at any time to avoid paying. If you don’t like the service, just set a reminder to cancel before the first payment is due.
Redemption is only available to users who do not have active subscriptions to YouTube Premium (formerly YouTube Red), YouTube Music Premium, or Google Play Music, and who have not previously subscribed to or participated in a trial of these services.
YouTube Premium is a Google service that enhances your YouTube experience. It removes ads from your videos, allows you to download videos for offline viewing (as long as your subscription is active), and enables background playback so you can continue watching or listening while using other apps on your phone. The subscription also includes access to YouTube Music, Google’s music service that competes with Spotify, Apple Music, and others.
