After a game conflict, a man from the USA traveled to confront his rival. It’s not the first time that an online disagreement has escalated into real-life violence.

As reported by Kotaku, a man from New Jersey, USA, assaulted a fellow player of the MMORPG Archeage with a hammer, causing serious head injuries. The exact cause of the argument remains unknown. Nevertheless, the attacker’s actions are highly unusual. He flew from Newark near New York City to Jacksonville in northern Florida to confront his fellow player.
