In summer 2024, phase 4 of the “Season of Discovery” begins for all WoW Classic fans. One of the most important mechanics introduced are the new class runes aimed at enhancing player power. This gaming tip will guide you through all known runes for Warlocks and their locations.

For the “Season of Discovery” announced at BlizzCon 2023, also known as “Classic+”, developers have introduced a series of new features for World of Warcraft Classic. This includes additional level phases before level 60, new level-up raids, new class roles, and a new runic engraving and rune system designed to enhance player power.
With the new rune system, players will unlock runes through new “discovery” quests, treasure chests, or secrets scattered throughout Azeroth. Once unlocked, runes are added to a new rune interface connected to the character window. From there, players can cast “rune engraving” spells and attach runes to different equipment pieces, unlocking new spells for the player once attached.
In this guide, we present all currently known runes for Warlocks and their locations during the Season of Discovery – Phase 4, corresponding to level 60.

Your spell ‘Soul Fire’ no longer has a cooldown. When you cast your spells ‘Shadow Bolt,’ ‘Shadowburn,’ ‘Immolate,’ or ‘Soul Fire’ on a target that has 35% health or less, the cast time of your next ‘Soul Fire’ is reduced by an additional 10 seconds for 40%. When you cast ‘Soul Fire’ while under the effect of ‘Decimation,’ the spell costs no Soul Shards.

Infernal Armor

Level 1
Your spirit is imbued with demonic energy, reducing all magical damage taken by a percentage equal to your physical damage reduction from armor. Lasts for 10 seconds.

Your ‘Curse of Agony’ and ‘Curse of Doom’ now apply ‘Mark of Chaos,’ reducing the target’s magical resistances by 69 and increasing all magical damage taken by 10% while cursed.
