The rumors were right! Microsoft today announced the date of its next Xbox Showcase, which for the first time, will feature news about Activision Blizzard King games, as this is the first event following the completion of the acquisition. The event will also include content from Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, as well as titles from third-party partners.

This year’s Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 9th at 2pm ET. Just like last year’s edition, which featured an event dedicated to Starfield after the main event, this year’s edition will also have a special event dedicated to the next installment of a beloved franchise.
In its official announcement, Microsoft was suspicious about the event held after Xbox Showcase, calling it just [redacted] Direct. According to the company, the hidden name was intentional and the revelation will only be made during the event.
