More laptops powered by Snapdragon X processors are appearing, including the latest models from Microsoft and Dell. Before this, leaks had shown Lenovo and HP laptops equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X CPUs. Qualcomm has recently broadened its Snapdragon lineup.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 series is the first in focus. It will offer 15″ and 13.5″ models. Both versions will feature top-tier Snapdragon X Elite SKUs like the X1E-84-100 and X1E-80-100. These models were previously seen in Geekbench tests, adding credibility to the leaks.

Graphics will be based on the Qualcomm Adreno architecture, and both models will offer various memory and storage options. The 13.5″ variant will have 8-16GB of LPDDR5x memory and 256-512GB SSDs, while the 15″ variant will offer 8-16-32GB LPDDR5x memory and 256-512GB SSDs up to 1024GB.

Regarding the display, the 13.5″ Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 will feature a 13.5″ PixelSense display with a maximum resolution of 2256 x 1504 (201 PPI), while the 15″ variant will feature a 15″ screen with a maximum resolution of 2496 x 1664 (201 PPI). Both models will have a 3:2 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 panel, and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. All models will offer up to 21-22 hours of battery life under normal use. Connectivity will include 2x USB Type-C 4.0 (TB4) ports, a single USB 3.1 Type-A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Surface Connect port.

Apart from the Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 lineup, Dell is also developing its own Inspiron 14 Plus laptops with Snapdragon X Elite CPUs. One such model has been spotted in the Geekbench database with the 12-core X1E-80-100 CPU configured with 16GB of LPDDR5x DRAM. It seems we can anticipate more models, particularly those based on the Snapdragon X Plus CPU models.

Here’s a list of all the Snapdragon X CPU laptops we’re aware of:

  • HP Dragon Snapdragon Edition Business
  • Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14 Snapdragon Edition
  • Lenovo ThinkPad T14S “Snapdragon Edition”
