The Nintendo Switch is a treasure trove of features, but there’s one particular gem that remains a well-kept secret for many. This hidden delight is the console’s sound function, recently unearthed by an observant Reddit user.

Nintendo Switch: Delighting Users with Different Sounds

The Switch is packed with features that are both practical and entertaining. An intriguing example is the hidden sound feature, which produces different tones when you unlock the console using various buttons.

This discovery was shared within the Reddit community, and it left many pleasantly surprised. This is especially intriguing because most people typically use the same button to unlock their Switch.

I’ve had this thing since it launched and didn’t notice it, wrote Reddit user CaykeSublime.

Whaaaaaaaat!? Now I feel stupid for always using the A button to unlock, according to Reddit user ReadditMan.

“I knew about the L/ZL and R/ZR buttons, but I didn’t know you could do the same with the analog sticks,” added Reddit user Arlock41.

These charming details, reminiscent of the Nintendo GameCube era, have a history of bringing joy to fans. It’s these playful design choices that contribute to the immense popularity of Nintendo’s consoles. However, it’s not just the design but also the extensive library of top-notch games, like The Legend of Zelda series, that solidify these consoles as a compelling choice compared to their rivals.
