Sony Interactive Entertainment (the PlayStation division) has expressed the desire to acquire Audeze, aiming to enhance its innovations that cater to the audio experience specifically for PlayStation games. However, more precise information about the deal itself is not currently available.
Audeze will continue to operate independently from Sony, as well as develop products for various platforms, including the PlayStation ecosystem. Audeze‘s speciality lies in the use of planar magnetic drivers in their headphones, which Sony might also be interested in incorporating.
