Nothing is set to launch an affordable smartphone under its CMF brand, a fact that has been widely anticipated and hinted at through the company’s social media channels for several weeks. However, the real excitement began yesterday with the start of a 9-day countdown, during which each detail of the CMF Phone 1 will be unveiled. The unveiling kicked off with a crucial aspect: the screen.

CMF has revealed that the screen will feature a refresh rate of 120 Hz and boast a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits.
The initial image also showcases a traditional screen design with a central top hole for the front camera. A closer look at the photo reveals a flexible circuit board at the lower part of the panel, suggesting that the CMF Phone 1 may integrate an in-display fingerprint sensor rather than one on the side.
While the internal chassis is partially visible, the details are sparse, except for the location of the SIM card slot. Fortunately, CMF has committed to unveiling one detail each day until July 4, promising to assemble an intriguing specs and features list ahead of the official launch on the 8th.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, another leaker, Yogesh Brar, has decided it’s time to unveil all the secrets of the CMF Phone 1. Brar’s post includes a comprehensive list of features and the price in rupees for India.

As for the price, the leaker mentioned that in the Indian market, the CMF Phone 1 will cost 15,999 rupees for the 6+128 GB version and 17,999 rupees for the 8+128 GB version. A quick Google search shows some interesting prices for the USA market:

- CMF Phone 1 – 8+128 GB – $215 (17,999 INR)
When the phone arrives in Europe, these prices might increase due to tariffs and export costs. However, they provide a good initial indication of the price range for this CMF Phone 1.
