Sony Increases Prices for PlayStation Plus

Sony has announced that the prices for 12-month subscriptions for the various levels of PlayStation Plus will be raised starting from September 6th. The new prices are as follows:

PlayStation Plus Essential 12 Months Subscription: $79.99 (previously $59.99)

PlayStation Plus Extra Months Subscription: $134.99 (previously $99.99)

PlayStation Plus Premium Months Subscription: $159.99 (previously $119.99)

The price increase applies to new subscriptions and to extensions of existing subscriptions. For existing subscribers with a 12-month subscription, the price increase will take effect only on the next renewal date occurring on or after November 6th.
