Xiaomi is preparing to launch the entry-level device Redmi A3. It will arrive as the direct successor to the Redmi A2, promising to offer upgrades in design and performance, bringing an interesting set of features at an affordable price.
After the phone received certification indicating an imminent launch, the Redmi A3 was listed on some African retailers, revealing details about its specifications.

According to the listing, the Redmi A3 will have a completely redesigned look compared to its predecessor. It will come with a glass back and a new circular camera module, similar to models from the realme 11 Pro line.
In terms of specifications, the phone will feature a 6.71-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It will be available in blue, black, and green colors.
In the camera department, the Redmi A3 is expected to feature a 13-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera. For power, it will have a 5,000 mAh battery unit with support for 10W charging.

Under the hood, it will come with an unspecified MediaTek platform with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 4 GB of virtual RAM, and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, along with space for a microSD card. It will come pre-installed with Android 13 Go operating system.
Other features include dual SIM, 4G, 2.4 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a USB-C port.
