But now, some of those uncertainties have been put to rest, as the company has unveiled key information about the hardware package that users can expect to get their hands on for the price of $700. That said, those interested won’t be getting the equipment’s Ultra 7 processor version at this price point.
According to the details showcased on the website, the initial price will cover the device with an Intel Core Ultra 5 135H processor, coupled with 512GB of SSD M.2 NVMe storage. To upgrade to the more powerful model, gamers will need to shell out at least $750.
For context, the Intel Core Ultra 5 135H boasts 14 cores and 16 threads, while the Ultra 7 155H features 16 cores and 22 threads. Additionally, there’s another variant sporting the same chip that will retail for $800 and comes with 1TB of internal storage. All other specifications remain consistent across all versions of the portable device.
This includes a 7-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD) and support for 120Hz refresh rates. Similarly, the product will pack 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, a 53Wh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support, microSD slot, and a 65W charging adapter.
Despite not hitting the market yet, MSI is already in the works on the successor to the model, as per insights from its executive.
