ASUS Teases ROG Phone 8 Pro’s Dominance in Benchmark Scores

On January 16, ASUS will unveil its latest line of gaming smartphones in China, including the ROG Phone 8. These devices promise top-tier performance and an array of cutting-edge features.

After surpassing the iPhone 15 Pro’s Geekbench score, ASUS revealed the ROG Phone 8 Pro’s AnTuTu benchmark score in a subsequent post. In a teaser shared by ASUS, the ROG Phone 8 Pro achieved an impressive score of 2,359,969 points. Notably, the phone will come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform.

The ROG Phone 8 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 2,500 nits. It also includes an in-screen fingerprint reader and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Memory configurations will be available in variants featuring 16GB and 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. Power-wise, it will house a 5,500mAh battery unit with support for 65W fast charging.

The ROG Phone 8 Pro’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Additionally, it boasts a 32-megapixel telephoto lens providing 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel front sensor is anticipated.

ASUS’ teasers portray the ROG Phone 8 Pro as an exciting device that breaks benchmark records. It promises excellence in display, memory, battery life, and photography. All eyes are now on the official launch to witness this gaming-centric powerhouse in action.
