Nearly two weeks ago, the long-awaited “Apple” smart glasses, “Vision Pro,” were finally released for sale. These glasses are direct competitors to the “Meta Quest3” glasses, with Mark Zuckerberg already expressing his opinion that his created glasses are superior. At the time of their release, over 600 applications specifically tailored for the new “Apple” glasses were made available.

However, the company has recently confirmed that there are now over 1000 applications accessible on the “App Store” intended for use with “Vision Pro.” Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, shared this achievement on the “X” platform, revealing that the “App Store” offers more than 1000 augmented reality applications, providing various ways to experience the advantages and capabilities of “Vision Pro.”

A huge thank you to our developers! Their hard work has already resulted in over 1,000 incredible spatial apps designed specifically for Vision Pro, along with over 1.5 million compatible apps. We're thrilled to see how they'll continue to push the boundaries for what’s possible.

In total, the “visionOS App Store” boasts more than 1.5 million applications compatible with these glasses. However, the majority of these are “iPad” applications. It’s worth noting that among these applications, there are currently no very popular ones such as “Netflix,” “Spotify,” “YouTube,” “Instagram,” and “TikTok.” Additionally, it remains uncertain whether and when these applications will become available for use with “Vision Pro” glasses.
