A year after the Legion Go’s launch, Lenovo seems ready to announce official accessories for the device at IFA 2024. The first images and details about these accessories have started to appear online.
Among the new features Lenovo plans to showcase at IFA 2024, there will be several highlights for the Legion Go. These include a USB-C base that was previously seen on the company’s website. They also designed new accessories to enhance the device’s usability.
One major new feature is a dock for the controllers that come with the console. Unlike the Steam Deck and ROG Ally, the Legion Go has detachable controllers with internal batteries. This lets you use the controllers while the device sits on a table or connects to the dock.
The new base for the controllers offers greater comfort and improves ergonomics. It combines the two controllers into a single unit and includes a 2850 mAh battery and a USB-C port for charging.
Lenovo has also announced covers for the joysticks on the Legion Go controllers, called Legion Go Pro caps. These covers will come in four different colors and feature four distinct designs.
To top it off, Lenovo is planning to release a mini Bluetooth keyboard. This makes sense since the Legion Go is a Windows device, and many users use it for more than just gaming. Additionally, Lenovo will introduce a new charging case that has more compartments and seems larger than the one included with the Legion Go.
For now, we’ll have to wait until IFA 2024, which runs from September 6 to 10, 2024, to see all of Lenovo’s plans. However, it looks like there are many exciting updates on the way.
