In May, IQOO officially introduced the iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro in the Chinese market. In terms of specifications, they feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and support for a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, they are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200 Plus platforms, respectively. Now, after unveiling the iQOO Neo 8 series, the Chinese manufacturer is already preparing the new generation iQOO Neo 9 and IQOO Neo 9 Pro.

An article reveals that the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro have been listed in the IMEI database and will be announced in the coming months. The GMSChina website disclosed that the Neo 9 carries the code V2338A, while the Neo 9 Pro is identified as V2339A. So far, no specifications of the devices have been revealed. Furthermore, IQOO has not provided a timeline for their announcement.

Similar to the iQOO Neo 8 series, it is expected that their successors will retain the AMOLED display with support for a high refresh rate and a large battery for extended autonomy, in addition to advanced performance.

Vivo has confirmed that they will unveil the OriginOS 4.0 based on Android 14 on November 1st, so it is anticipated that the Neo 9 series will come pre-installed with the new version of the operating system. In the coming weeks, certifications and leaks are expected to reveal the specifications and design of the phones.

As mentioned earlier, the iQOO Neo 9 series will succeed the iQOO Neo 8 series, which includes the iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro. They are likely to inherit some of their specifications, such as support for 120W fast charging.
