If you have a Samsung phone, you’re probably excited for the next update. One UI 7 and Android 15 will be arriving soon in Europe and Latin America. While we wait, we can take a look at some of the leaked features of the software. Today, we have some exciting news about a widely used app—the Clock app, which wakes you up every morning for work or study.

Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

This app, used daily by millions of people and with few changes over the years, is set to surprise us with the next update. According to SamMobile, One UI 7 will completely redesign the alarms section, changing the layout and adding some very useful new features.

There are two new features found in the Clock app that will be available on Samsung phones after updating to One UI 7 and Android 15. If you’re one of the users who sets multiple alarms daily, you’ll likely want the new app as soon as it’s available.

Alarm Groups: The Clock app will let you create alarm groups to combine multiple alerts and enable or disable them with just one click. It’s simple to create a new group, set all the alarms you want, and with a single click, you can adjust the status of several alerts at once. This feature is perfect for those who need multiple alarms set every 5 or 10 minutes to wake up.

General Volume: With One UI 7, the alarm volume on your Samsung phone will see a small but useful change. A volume bar will be added, allowing you to adjust the general volume for all your alarms at once. You’ll no longer need to change the volume for each alert individually.

In addition to these alarm-specific improvements, the Clock app will get a fresh new design. This includes more background options for alerts, redesigned icons, and clearer tabs. Here are some screenshots of what the final version might look like.

When Is One UI 7 Coming to Samsung Phones?

It’s the big question on everyone’s mind. While there is no exact date yet, rumors suggest that the beta version of One UI 7 is about to be officially launched. The Galaxy S24 will be the first to receive the update, followed by other high-end models from previous years, including the Galaxy S23 and S22.

The beta phase is expected to last several weeks, so One UI 7 and Android 15 in their stable form could be available by the first quarter of 2025. The release will depend on how quickly Samsung moves forward and how many bugs need fixing—there are reportedly many—before the stable version is launched. A leaked roadmap from a few days ago suggests that mid-February is the most likely time for the official and stable rollout of One UI 7 to begin on the first Samsung devices.
