Microsoft Teams will soon make it far easier to share documents and other files with those beyond your organization. The need to share content with the guests may involve additional measures because of the security settings. Teams does not require extra invites or copy-pasting links in order to send a file to somebody in a group conversation or one-on-one chat, and will be able to do so in July. You will only have to click on the file on your chat toolbar and select the outside recipients, just as you could internally with your organization. This will save time in cooperating with partners, vendors, or even clients who require getting your latest work in a speedy manner.

Customizable Keyboard Shortcuts
It (efficiency) may depend on one keystroke. In the later part of this week, Microsoft Teams will have customizable keyboard shortcuts that you define yourself. You will go to the more actions menu, enter keyboard shortcuts, and input your own key sequences to commands like scheduling meetings, muting your mic, or switching to chats. The power users are going to like that they can only memorize the shortcuts that they use most often. Minimizing the use of the mouse or the trackpad helps you to focus on everything around and complete tasks and conversations without interrupting your flow.
Improved Sign Language Support
Inclusive meetings matter more than ever. Beginning in July, Teams will identify sign language interpreters on screen and promote anyone using sign language to active speaker status. When an interpreter begins translating, Teams will automatically spotlight them so that viewers can see their hands and facial expressions clearly. In a case when one of the participants changes to a sign language, they will also be made visible, thereby having their video feed raised. Such improvements are based on suggestions of the deaf and hard-of-hearing professionals and their peers. Remote cooperation will be made open to more individuals by enhancing greater understanding of interpreters and sign language users.
Why These Updates Matter
All these features cater to those problems that can be applied in the real world. Teams eliminates vessels on cross-company collaboration by streamlining the process of dealing with other files. Personalized shortcuts enable people to adjust their workflow to their habits and improve their productivity. This is achieved by making Teams meetings more welcoming and inclusive because Teams is easier to understand regardless of the way people communicate, through the use of enhanced sign language support.

All these summer releases would make Microsoft Teams versatile, more efficient, and equitable to all users. With these updates to be introduced this summer, take the time to play around with each new tool once it is introduced. Making them able at an early stage will allow you to take advantage of them and also allow your colleagues to make adjustments on their own. As Teams changes in some new ways each month, being aware of the inner workings of Teams will keep you and your job on track and your meetings open.
